Quality Assurance Engineer

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for creating an end-to-end test plan; executing the plan and managing all activities in the plan to ensure that all the objectives are met and that the solution works as expected. The solution should be tested in terms of functionality, performance, reliability, stability and compatibility with other systems, devices and/or platforms. You will be responsible for ensuring that every phase and feature of the software solution is tested and that any potential issue is identified and fixed before the product goes live.

• Perform QA testing.

• Develop QA testing plan.

• Ensuring functionality, performance, reliability, stability and compatibility standards meet company expectations.

• Create, record and maintain versioning of functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables.

• Document and report test cases, progress, and results.

• Hold and facilitate test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members.

• Identify and manage any potential quality issues with team members.

• Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes.

• Undertaking other positions or assignments as and when required by the company Quality Assurance Engineer Bangkok, Thailand.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field.

• Possesses all the company’s team values.

• At least 1 year of experience in IT related roles.

• Clear verbal and written communication skills.

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking of the Thai language.

• Ability to work under pressure.

• Self-motivated and self-learning capability.

• Ability to manage time and prioritization of work tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Excellent command of spoken and written English.

• Strong analytical and trouble-shooting skills.

• 2+ years of technical experience.

• Ability to code automated tests.

• Experience with testing web-based and mobile application.

• Research new tools, technologies, and testing processes.

• Some knowledge of the following tools and technologies: Selenium, JMeter, Katalon Studio, Postman, Espresso, etc.
