This role is to drive the successful development and launch of new products in the market.
Job Responsibilities / Phạm vi công việc
Lead the planning and execution of product initiatives while identifying new business opportunities through in-depth research on market trends, customer needs, and competitor insights to strengthen Prudential’s competitive position in the life insurance market.
Ensure comprehensive understanding of the product portfolio among the sales force to enhance product salability.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define product positioning, develop marketing materials, develop training materials and manage the end-to-end product development process.
Job Accountability / Trách nhiệm chính
This role is:
Design and develop innovative product solutions that address customer needs and align with the product calendar approved by the Product Steering Committee (PSC).
Coordinate with key stakeholders to prepare the Product Concept Paper (PCP) and Product Submission Documents (PSD) and support regulatory submission processes to GPAC and the Ministry of Finance (MOF) to ensure timely completion of product design and full regulatory approval.
Engage with reinsurers and internal teams to optimize product design and pricing strategies.
Support develops training materials and collaborate to organize new product training to trainers/sales managers.
Review training materials for updates and regularly communicate with the DTD team and others BAU.
Coordinate with departments such as Operations, IT, Actuary, Compliance, Legal, and Distribution to ensure smooth product implementation.
Provide regular updates and strategic inputs for monthly PSC meetings in compliance with governance requirements.
Support the sales force with product workshop materials and respond to ad-hoc requests/questions.
Support relevant teams in conducting market surveys, competitive benchmarking, product gap analysis, and focus group discussions to gather customer insights.
Collaborate in post-launch evaluations and assist in implementing corrective actions to ensure product performance and market relevance.

Timely delivery of product development and launch milestones in accordance with the approved roadmap.
Quality of new product launches, measured by feedback from sales force and customer satisfaction.
Sales force readiness and product understanding, evaluated through training assessments and post-training surveys.
Effectiveness of cross-functional collaboration, reflected in approval process efficiency and stakeholder satisfaction.
Number and impact of product enhancement initiatives based on market insights and customer needs.
Post-launch product performance, including sales volume, persistency rate, and market competitiveness.
Job Requirements / Yêu cầu
Education & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Actuarial Science, or related fields.
Experience:
Minimum 3 years of experience the life insurance or financial services industry and Health experience is a plus for this job.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and market trends.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both in English and Vietnamese.
Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects and work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
Good understanding of insurance products, customer insights.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with data analysis tools is a plus.
