Microprogram Environmental Data Science
Course Overview
The Environmental Data Science Microprogram equips students with essential skills to analyze and interpret geospatial data in a rapidly expanding industry. Through this program, you’ll learn foundational statistical concepts and how to implement them using the R programming environment, as well as advanced techniques tailored to spatial data analysis.
Taught by experienced faculty and leveraging real-world datasets, the program empowers students to confidently undertake substantial geospatial projects, preparing them for careers in environmental data science, geospatial consulting, or research. Upon completion, participants will possess the skills to analyze satellite imagery, drone data, Google Street View inputs, and more, while opening doors to further specialization opportunities.
