Course Overview
The Master of Finance is a two-year full-time postgraduate degree (part-time equivalent available) that strengthens your technical skills and strategic decision-making abilities in finance. The program emphasizes Australian and global financial markets, modern finance tools (including AI and analytics), ethical considerations, and an independent research capstone. You’ll study in a flexible hybrid format, blending on-campus and online learning.
What You'll Learn
Year 1: Foundational courses in accounting, principles of finance, quantitative methods, economics, equity valuation, fixed-income securities, and finance ethics.
Year 2: Advanced topics including derivatives, fund management, financial statement analysis, and completion of a research project.
Electives: Customise your learning through 12 units of electives—covering areas like tax & wealth planning, global wealth, corporate finance, risk management, real estate investment, financial modelling, and more. Internships or study tours may also count as electives, subject to approval.
