Master of Philosophy
Course Overview
QUT’s Master of Philosophy (MPhil) is a two-year full-time research degree (or four years part-time for domestic students). You’ll conduct in-depth, independent research on a topic you propose, with guidance from an experienced academic supervisor. The program is offered across all faculties—including business, engineering, health, science, arts, and law—or you can follow a more general route to match your background and research interests.
Students complete a research skills audit, which helps shape any additional training or coursework needed to strengthen your research capabilities and career prospects.
