Course Overview
The MEng in Geomatics Engineering is a course-based master’s program, typically completed in 1–2 years full-time (with part-time options and a maximum of 6 years). As one of Canada’s largest and most recognized geomatics programs, it prepares students for careers involving digitized positioning, mapping, and spatial data. Students choose ten graduate-level courses covering topics like GNSS theory, sensor networks, spatial databases, digital imaging, remote sensing, IoT, and geocomputation. An accelerated “4+1” pathway allows top undergraduates from related disciplines to finish the degree in just one additional year.
