เมื่อพูดถึงเรื่องที่เคยเสียใจ กรบอกว่าเขาไม่มีเรื่องอะไรเสียใจ เพราะเขามองความผิดพลาดในอดีตเป็นบทเรียน เขาเชื่อใน "ทฤษฎีผีเสื้อ" ที่บอกว่าการเปลี่ยนแปลงเล็กๆในอดีต อาจส่งผลใหญ่ในอนาคต ทำให้กรรู้สึกขอบคุณทุกสิ่งที่ผ่านเข้ามาในชีวิต

กรเรียนที่โรงเรียนนานาชาติ Niva ในกรุงเทพฯ ที่โรงเรียนเขาเป็นนักบาสเก็ตบอลและชอบร่วมกิจกรรมต่าง ๆ หนึ่งในความทรงจำที่ภูมิใจที่สุด คือ เพื่อนร่วมทีมคนหนึ่งได้ติดทีมชาติบาสเก็ตบอล อยากให้คนรุ่นใหม่เรียนรู้การยอมรับความพ่ายแพ้ในชีวิต ทำให้เต็มที่ อย่าเปรียบเทียบตัวเองกับคนอื่นแต่ให้พัฒนาตัวเอง


ถัดมาคือชื่อย่อวง "PROXIE" และเรื่องราวของวงนี้ รวมถึงมุมมองของกอร์น


P: PROXIE  

ชื่อ PROXIE มาจากกรที่เสนอให้ใช้คำว่า "Proxy" ซึ่งเดิมเขียนว่า "P-R-O-X-Y" แต่พอมีสมาชิก 6 คน ก็ปรับเป็น "P-R-O-X-I-E" เพื่อให้สื่อถึงสมาชิก 6 คน คำว่า "Proxy" มาจากโลกเทคโนโลยีที่หมายถึงตัวกลาง ซึ่งสื่อถึงบทบาทของวงที่เป็นตัวกลางเชื่อมกับแฟน ๆ โดยแฟนด้อมของวงเรียกว่า "User"

Gorn shared about his life before becoming a public figure. He described himself as a typical teenager, close to his family. He wasn’t a particularly studious student, being more involved in activities and known for being a back row student, often disruptive but friendly with his peers.

Gorn's current obsession is watches, especially women's watches. He appreciates their softer, more delicate design. Gorn believes in unisex fashion and enjoys wearing accessories like bracelets and watches to enhance his simple outfits.

Reflecting on regrets, Gorn mentioned he has no major regrets as he views past mistakes as valuable learning experiences. He subscribes to the concept of the "Butterfly Effect," believing that even small changes in the past could have a significant impact on future, and thus, he is grateful for where he is today.


N: Niva 

Gorn attended Niva International School in Bangkok, where he played basketball and participated in school events. One of his proudest memories is of a teammate who made it to Thailand's national basketball team. Gorn also discussed the importance of accepting losses, both in basketball and life, and advised younger people not to compare themselves to others, but instead to focus on self-improvement.

The Name PROXIE : Gorn, a band member, came up with the name "PROXIE." Originally, it was spelled "P-R-O-X-Y," but they adjusted the spelling to "P-R-O-X-I-E" to represent the six members. The word "Proxy" (from the tech world) symbolizes being a medium, which fits the band’s role in connecting with their fans. Their fandom is called "User."

The six members already knew each other from the show "The Brothers Thailand," and while they had different skills (e.g., singing, dancing), they blended well after training together for a year or two. One challenge was the age gap, as the youngest member is 18 and the oldest is 26.


R: Ritual

Before going on stage, they have a cheer-up ritual where they chant "1, 2, 3 PROXIE!" initiated by the older members like Kim or Gun. This helps them overcome nervousness before performances.


O: Obstetrician

An obstetrician is a type of doctor specializing in childbirth and women's health, often referred to in connection with OB-GYN (obstetrician-gynecologist). Gorn's interest in becoming an obstetrician stems from his personal experience when his mother was battling cancer. During this time, he admired the OB-GYN who cared for his mother, noting the sensitivity and care required to work with women and children.

He compared it to past crises, saying that while events like the Tom Yum Kung and COVID-19 crises were severe, recovery then was swift. Now, the pain is milder but prolonged. In contrast, K.Topp Jirayut offered a bold warning: “This year might be the best year we’ll have  because after this, things could decline further.” He noted that “Old Economy” sectors are losing their premium, while Digital and AI-driven economies are rapidly expanding. Without reskilling the workforce, Thailand risks slipping into a downward spiral driven by price competition and demographic decline — with births falling to just 400,000 per year, cutting consumption nearly in half. Aging Society: Finding Opportunity in Demographic Shifts K.Krit highlighted that as Thailand becomes an aging society, opportunities still exist — but in new consumer behaviors. “People now spend more on health, wellness, and sustainability than on luxury.” Thus, sectors like Wellness, Longevity, and Health are emerging as Thailand’s new growth engines. K. Topp added that wellness tourism could become Thailand’s next high-value export: “Young people today don’t drink or smoke — they run, sauna, and care about wellbeing. If we design businesses for them, we can create a new S-Curve for the nation.” From Old Economy to New Economy – Lessons from China K.Chanapun Juangroongruangkit pointed to China and Indonesia as models of successful economic transition. But did you know that the origin of this platform came from something as simple as a foreigner’s struggle to book a hair salon in Thailand? We had the opportunity to speak with Khun Pui – Wipawee Wongsirisak, CCO & Co-Founder of GoWabi, about her 9-year journey from a small beginning to becoming one of Thailand’s leading Health & Wellness Super Apps today. From a Small Pain Point to a Big Platform Nine years ago, GoWabi started with what seemed like a small inconvenience but turned into a huge impact.  “At that time, our two co-founders, one Swedish, one Russian, had difficulty booking hair salons. Calling was inconvenient, language was a barrier, and often they couldn’t even secure an appointment. On top of that, foreign hair types are different from Thai hair, so they needed suitable stylists,” K.Pui recalled. The big question was: why wasn’t there a tool that let you “just click to book instantly,” view salon details, and pay directly without having to call? That question became the seed of GoWabi. In the early days, the team even focused on men by partnering with barbershops. But soon, they expanded to massage parlors, onsens, and later beauty clinics recognizing the purchasing power of women who want to look beautiful and feel confident. Today, GoWabi has grown beyond beauty services, covering hospitals, health check-ups, vaccinations, and fitness classes, to truly serve the Health & Wellness lifestyle. “We believe beauty and health are about giving people inner confidence. When you look in the mirror and feel good about yourself, that’s when the day feels truly complete.” COVID-19 Challenge The path of a startup is never smooth, and one of the greatest challenges for GoWabi was the COVID-19 crisis.  “At that time, all the massage and spa shops on our platform were forced to close. We couldn’t sell anything, it was the hardest period ever,” K.Pui explained. To survive, the team quickly sought solutions: Coupon “Buy Now, Use Later” so customers could purchase deals in advance and salons could maintain cash flow. Affordable COVID-19 testing packages via partner clinics, at a time when tests were both scarce and expensive. Despite the crisis, GoWabi did not lay off a single employee and worked to support partner businesses through the tough times. “We were deeply touched when shop owners thanked us for finding ways to help them,” K.Pui said. The Next Chapter: From Booking App to Health & Wellness Platform Having overcome COVID-19, GoWabi has since evolved from being just a booking app into a full Health & Wellness ecosystem.
