Position Overview
The Warehouse Team Leader must demonstrate strong work habits and capabilities, providing services that fulfill the requirements for PC and MC planning, material control, and warehouse management.
Responsibilities
- Follow superiors' instructions and diligently carry out their work assignments. Continuously improve warehouse management practices and promptly inform superior departments about long-term inventory backlogs and stagnant products; evaluate the performance of subordinates and report to superiors.
- Oversee the creation of finished product picking lists, packing lists, and label production. Manage outbound progress according to sales outbound orders, and coordinate nearby shipping, transportation, loading, and unloading arrangements.
- Commit to implementing relevant management procedures and consistently improving work processes as per the company's guidelines.
- Adhere strictly to the company's general safety protocols and supervise subordinates to ensure their diligent implementation.
- Coordinate and organize the work of warehouse staff, seeking approval from superiors, and providing statistical data for company leaders to fairly assess the work performance of warehouse staff.
- Offer guidance and training to subordinate staff, and develop work instructions for each role within the warehouse.
- Assess the performance of subordinates, create plans for improvement with them, and monitor the execution of these plans.
- Thoroughly review goods to confirm that the Scala delivery note, shipping list, and packing list match.
- Understand the four stages of sales and delivery. Be skilled in operating the scanner and possess fundamental maintenance knowledge.
- Assist the finance department with regular physical inventory counts.
- Supervise delivery personnel to ensure adherence to the "first in, first out" principle for delivery and material distribution.
- Implement "6S" management within the warehouse according to company standards, including supervision, inspection, and assessment.
- Ensure timely delivery and accurate shipment according to the company's requirements, and meet the company's annual quality objectives.
- Participate in warehouse personnel training and training provided by the company.
- Carefully complete other tasks as directed by superiors.
- Take appropriate measures to prevent any product, process, or system inconsistencies.
- Identify and/or document any issues with products, processes, and management systems.
- Propose, suggest, or offer solutions via designated channels.
- Validate the implementation of the solution.
- Control further processing, delivery, or installation of nonconforming product until the defect or non-conforming condition is corrected.
