1. Retail Channel Value Proposition (40%)
• Plan display programs to increase TVP and total display facings for relevant categories.
• Review channel and outlet segmentation to plan key retailer tiering, boosting sales through monthly/quarterly programs and ad-hoc initiatives.
• Follow up with the sales team regarding deployed plans for improvement and ensure tracking/measurements are in place.
• Establish channel building blocks and set sales objectives/controls to create sales plans and quotas for each channel and area in support of national sales targets.
• Collaborate with the Marketing team to integrate the marketing activities calendar into a cohesive commercial plan, maximizing synergy across channels.
• Lead Merchandisers in reviewing shopper activation activities, conducting random checks according to the agreed working plan for effectiveness.
• Establish channel forecasts and develop demand forecasts, ensuring alignment with the regional supply chain team for rolling forecasts and PO timing compliance.
• Project and deliver expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.
• Set and analyze sales data to implement methods and procedures that enhance sales and fundamentally improve company performance.
• Develop and maintain relationships with Activation Agencies.
2. Shopper/Retailer Promotions & Communication (30%)
• Plan, deploy, and improve POG & OSA to deliver winning displays and compliance.
• Plan Displays & TVP: Research and plan display points and tools according to budget.
• Set up and follow up on the PDCA (Plan – Do – Check – Action) process with distributor teams/Regions for critical business cycles.
• Track and follow up on the execution of initiatives per channel via distributor teams.
• Track and follow up on key measurements through assessing report systems from distributors, contributing to system improvements for robust reporting.
• Set up and conduct weekly/monthly meetings with key stakeholders.
3. Category Launch Initiatives Management (20%)
• Partner with local and regional marketing teams to develop category initiatives, providing channel planning input for gate approval preparation.
• Research channels and shopper insights to develop winning category launch initiatives.
• Develop channel plans and fundamental targets, aligning with sales leaders for successful category initiative launches.
• Deploy and follow up on launch plans, ensuring category initiative targets are met. Analyze sales data, trends, and review performance metrics set for visibility and activation effectiveness.
4. Other (10%)
• Engage and support internal team members to enhance productivity and ensure open, effective communication within the organization.
• Drive productivity, continuous service improvement, and resource optimization to improve costs and efficiency.
• Complete any other tasks or assignments as assigned by the reporting manager/Glico Sales Head.
