Key job responsibilities
In collaboration with sales, you will drive revenue growth across a small set of ASEAN customers. As a trusted customer advocate, the solutions architect will help organizations understand best practices around advanced cloud-based solutions, and how to migrate existing workloads to the cloud. You will have the opportunity to help shape and execute a strategy to build mindshare and broad use of AWS within enterprise customers.
The ability to connect technology with measurable business value is critical to a solutions architect. You should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, products, and technical challenges.
Basic Qualifications
- Technical degree or extensive technical experience required
- Significant design/implementation/consulting experience with Cloud or distributed applications
- Working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly
- Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries
- Deep understanding and implementation of database, data lakes and analytics.
- Experience with predictive analytics, semi- and unstructured data
Preferred Qualifications
- Computer Science, Engineering or Math background highly desired
- Strong understanding of AWS and/or technology as a service (Iaas,SaaS,PaaS) would be preferred but not required.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations and virtual teams.
- Experience of building machine learning solutions on public cloud platforms
- Talent for being able to influence and build mindshare convincingly with any audience. Confident and experienced in public speaking to large audiences.
- Ability to handle complex relationships and work in a team environment is a key requirement
- Proficiency with programming languages such as Python, Java and data querying tools.
