HSEQ
- Promote HSEQ principles and ensure that they are implemented, adhering to all relevant policies and procedures.
STRATEGY, PLANNING & EXECUTION
- Formulate and execute commercial strategies that are in line with the company’s overall objectives.
- Set sales team targets to achieve the agreed-upon volumes and margins.
- Control pricing and discounts to maintain desired profit margins for the company.
- Ensure timely debt collection and take corrective actions when needed. Oversee Credit committee meetings.
- Ensure effective systems are in place for optimal information flow and data management controls.
- Analyze sales statistics and market trends to identify business growth opportunities.
- Contribute to inventory optimization (LPG and spare parts), with a focus on cylinder management.
- Identify and target potential new customers, develop action plans to acquire new business.
- Coordinate the management of key accounts.
- Develop, maintain, and strengthen relationships with current customers.
MANAGEMENT
- Set performance objectives for staff and consistently monitor their progress.
- Supervise and mentor the team, providing guidance, support, and opportunities for professional development.
DIRECT CUSTOMERS
- Define criteria for selecting direct customers (primarily Bulk and B2B).
- Identify potential prospects and oversee the team responsible for developing these leads.
- Develop comprehensive offers, including LPG solutions, with an emphasis on installation and maintenance services.
CROSS FUNCTION and EXTERNAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work closely with departments like marketing, business services, and the LPG teams in Singapore and Paris to support commercial initiatives.
- Offer expertise and advice to other departments.
- Encourage the use of Salsa by all sales personnel.
- Maintain positive relationships and collaboration with the LPG Association and relevant authorities.
- Serve as a representative when interacting with local authorities regarding market trading (Market Controller, Economics Police, Ministry or Department of Trading and Commerce, Ministry or Department of Finance...).
- Perform any other duties or tasks as required by direct/indirect supervisors and/or requested by the Board of Management.
