Directly perform merchandiser tasks and lead the merchandise team to ensure high performance, including: daily work management, task delegation, performance monitoring, process optimization & template creation; manage/ train/ coach & motivate team members; foster a harmonious and trusting team environment.
- Directly implement and manage the team's daily work execution, overseeing accounts, tracking orders, and managing client interactions.
- Collaborate with sales, clients, and the design team to develop samples that meet client requirements.
- Monitor and oversee sample production, ensuring sample quality before customer delivery.
- Oversee order receipt, assisting customers with the ordering process.
- Follow up on customer feedback, and support contract negotiations when necessary.
- Work closely with manufacturing partners, QA-QC, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Sales teams to supervise all orders during sample/mass production, ensuring on-time production and delivery of high-quality products in the correct quantity.
- Collaborate with SCM, Production, and QA-QC teams to proactively inform clients of any unforeseen delays or issues impacting order progress.
- Serve as the primary point of communication between the product team and manufacturers on all development details.
- Work with relevant teams to address customer complaints and provide after-sales support when needed.
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry into the system following established procedures.
- Propose and implement process improvements to streamline production.
- Manage, supervise, support, and coach team members to ensure high efficiency and excellent work performance.
- Evaluate and assess team performance, providing feedback and guidance for improvement.
- Review and improve merchandising procedures.
- Prepare regular reports as required.
- Perform other tasks as requested by the Line Manager or BOD.
