Field Service and Support Engineer - Hanoi

Your main duties will involve, but are not limited to:

- Offering customer support via email or phone, addressing questions related to equipment, technical and commercial details, and parameter configurations.

- Handling customer support requests in person by scheduling visits and investigating reported issues, carrying out tests, modifying parameters, or suggesting part replacements or repairs at DEIF facilities for issues that cannot be resolved on-site.

- Executing equipment commissioning and start-up procedures at customer locations, evaluating panel installation, conducting protection and load tests, and initiating operation after verification.

- Organizing and delivering internal technical training sessions, using equipment and training materials to simulate real-world client scenarios utilizing pre-configured test setups.

- Maintaining and testing internal panels in the training room, verifying configuration adjustments or component replacements, and re-testing to ensure customer configurations can be replicated to pinpoint problem solutions.

- Developing new functionalities on test panels based on matrix technical data to acquire knowledge and facilitate remote customer support.

- Participating in electrical projects involving software for electrical planning to understand operations and key attributes for better service delivery to customers.

- Adhering to internal rules, environmental protection standards, and occupational health, hygiene, and safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary.

- Undertaking other duties relevant to the position or as instructed by your supervisor, provided they align with your skills and knowledge. Configuration of project software and hardware

- You'll need to visit customer sites globally for commissioning or service work, working alongside our global technical team. Expect to travel 30-40 days annually.
