The aim of this role is to oversee domestic transportation activities. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong communication and client relationship management capabilities to foster positive client interactions. We are seeking a proactive individual capable of thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
The main responsibility is to ensure exceptional service delivery to our customers. The candidate will collaborate with both internal teams and external customers to develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for transportation services. Effective daily task management is essential to meet and uphold the established KPIs. The candidate will also coordinate with internal teams to ensure high-performance and excellent service quality, as well as manage subcontractors to align service levels with customer expectations.
An additional responsibility includes aiding the Leader/Manager in identifying innovative strategies to reduce costs, improve margins, and enhance service levels. The candidate is expected to stay informed about market trends and adopt emerging technologies to transform the existing market landscape.
3 Specific Accountabilities
Operations
• Carry out transportation operations in accordance with SOPs and specified KPIs, with a focus on air freight.
• Provide guidance and support across all functions related to transportation.
• Maintain close communication with customers to build strong relationships and secure their support.
• Escalate any issues or problems to the direct Team Leader and Manager as necessary.
• Adhere to the instructions of the Team Leader and Manager at all times.
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of internal reports.
• Ensure precise and punctual billing processes, as well as accurate P&L management.
• Guarantee correct and timely system/TMS operations.
• Collaborate with suppliers to achieve KPIs and improve service delivery.
• Contribute to defining and optimizing productivity and efficiency parameters and workflow processes.
• Provide support for other tasks assigned by the Leader/Manager.
• Work with suppliers to ensure that the KPIs are being achieved and improve supplier services.
