Investment Analyst
We are seeking an investment analyst to support our real estate private equity asset management platform. The ideal candidate will be a motivated individual passionate about real estate investments, proficient in financial analysis, data analysis, deal evaluation and legal execution. Strong interest in aesthetic and space design along with an open-minded approach to evaluating and identifying opportunities will be an advantage. The selected candidate will support investment deals across Southeast Asia, with key responsibilities being:
- Research and prepare data-driven analysis of industry trends and key factors for key asset classes in target markets
- Prepare financial model to evaluate potential new development or investments and draft investment memorandum, with focus on investment returns analysis supported by market data & research
- Prepare investment memorandum, investor presentations and marketing materials
- Support deal evaluation & execution through site visits, stress testing of assumptions, regulatory compliance review and coordination of legal documentation
- Assist with acquisition due diligence and transaction execution (legal, financial, commercial, technical), including appointment of consultants, review of contracts, budget preparation and present findings to investment committee
- Liaise with external partners including lenders, administrators, lawyers and tax advisors
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate or in a related field with minimum two years of experience in real estate investments, corporate development or corporate finance
- Strong proficiency in English, financial modelling & MS Office applications (in particular MS Excel & PPT)
- Good understanding of real estate, prior experience in the real estate industry would be an advantage
- Excellent data collection & analysis skills, research ability, analytical & problem-solving skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently, multi-task and perform under pressure
- Team player who is able to work and collaborate with different parties across many countries and cultures
