Manage financial transactions at the LEGO Group! As an Accounts Payable Specialist in Business Services Operations (BSO), oversee timely and accurate payments across Asia Pacific, supporting vendors and staff while ensuring global compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Foster a high-performance, customer-focused culture within the Supplier Services department.

Possess thorough knowledge of local statutory rules and regulations.

Spearhead implementation of improvements using the LEGO Continuous Improvement method.

Lead projects and optimization efforts across various areas.

Ensure compliance with company policies, supporting global, standardized, scalable processes.

Learn and utilize financial IT platforms, along with local and global policies, to facilitate effective operations.

Provide high-quality service in response to senior stakeholder inquiries.

Supply data, analysis, and guidance to support decision-making.

Ensure processes are executed efficiently, accurately, and on time, including:

Processing invoices in SAP, managing payments daily/weekly, and delivering exceptional service.

Resolving escalated payment inquiries.

Delivering on KPIs as part of the BSO Performance Management System.

Promptly processing travel expense claims.

Managing corporate credit cards.

Handling purchase requests in Coupa.

Generating Coupa reports.

Supplier Services is a crucial finance function within BSO in Singapore, covering Asia Pacific. The team manages operational tasks for LEGO Group's vendors and employees, working closely with the business.

The team aims to:

Honor our partner promise by handling invoices, purchase orders, and travel expense claims accurately and punctually for all LEGO companies in Asia Pacific.

Ensure costs are correctly reflected in financial and management reports.

Maintain high quality, stewardship, and compliance in global processes.

This role performs daily tasks, working with stakeholders internally and externally, and supports LEGO's success by ensuring high-quality process execution and stakeholder management, helping BSO deliver value.

This position is also vital in establishing a sustainable Supplier Services department within BSO.

What you'll need:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

3-5 years as a Senior Accountant, including 1-2 years in a supervisory role, with proven initiative in financial tasks and processes.

Experience in a Multinational Corporation, focusing on process optimization and operational excellence.

Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented, and committed to high-quality results.

Resilient, adaptable, proactive with a positive mindset to effectively manage change.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

Extensive teamwork experience.

Shared Services experience.

SAP proficiency is essential.

Familiarity with COUPA is desirable.

Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal skills.
