1. Proposition Development (50%)
Provide compelling proposition conceptualization, idea validation.
Lead design sprints with cross-functional teams to validate/re-design compelling product propositions (Including new products, product-integrated ecosystem, and product planning tool), as well as customer experience (including Learn & Buy, service and claim) for each proposition.
Gather customers and distribution feedback on whether the proposition design, customer journey and agent selling journey deliver the intended experience.
Prepare competitor analysis, identify key differentiators and develop product specifications.
Facilitate the Group function approval process.
Lead the MOF approval process with cross-functions to prepare required documents, answer any questions from regulators and ensure that MOF approval is obtained in time to meet product launch timeline.
Collaborate closely with Proposition MKT to develop product brochures, leaflets, and other product communication related materials in a way that company products are well perceived by internal and external customers.
Design planning tools and training materials to ensure success of proposition launch.
Provide trainings to internal staffs such as Customer Office team.
2. Proposition Implementation & Go-to-market (30%)
Oversee the entire process from development to implementation and launching of a proposition.
Plan with Proposition Implementation to ensure systems are developed in timely manner for both Day 1 and Day 2 items.
Play a major role in Product Implementation Committee with various departments to kick-off a proposition.
Review all the user requirements from all the systems to ensure consistency with proposition specification.
Plan proposition launching activities with relevant stakeholders such as promotion, ECM, roadshow, etc.
Proactively follow-up with Distribution/Proposition Go-to-Market to monitor proposition post-launch performance, track proposition leading indicators and lagging indicators.
3. Strategic initiatives & Risk Management (20%)
Play a major role in the preparation of monthly Proposition Development Committee and annual Strategic Proposition Planning exercise.
Proactively identifies challenges and risks in product designs / product initiatives and proposes resolutions.
Ensure all processes, reports are well written, accurate and meet deadline.
Handle queries to AIA VN Product Management mailbox, crisis/complaint/incident handling.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
University Degree in a business-related discipline.
At least 5(+) years working experience in product development for financial service industry, preferably life insurance.
Good analytical skills – ability to work with numbers effectively and problem-solving skills
Highly skilled in creative thinking, being able to execute thoughts into reality.
Good organization and time/project management.
Good writing and presentation skills.
Good understanding of life insurance operational and technical areas (is an advantage).
An excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing
Innovative and willing to explore new things.
Able to work well with a wide range of people from different parts of the business
Able to manage different projects at the same time
Energetic and passionate about their product specialty
Able to work well under pressure
Fluently in speaking and writing English and Vietnamese
