Accounting Officer

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and other accounting documents
• Perform basic accounting tasks, such as data entry, reconciliations, and journal entries
• Support senior accountants in various financial projects and tasks
• Work with accounting software to maintain accurate financial records
• Assist in audit preparation and provide documentation as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
• At least 1 year of related work experience preferred
• No supervisory experience required
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software is a plus
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
